'Miracle Cures' by Jean Carper. Let me say upfront, I am a skeptic. I firmly believe in the adage - if it seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is not. However, Jean Carper, presents each remedy or supplement in such a straightforward manner that the claims seem reasonable, and for the cost of a few supplements, you have to ask yourself - Why not? The author also presents the material in an objective and no sensationalistic manner. This helps keep the remedies in perspective. False hope is not given or fostered, but the healing powers of the remedies she covers are presented in an even-handed manner. I have learned so many things that average person should be aware of. Just Excellent! 'Get Wet, Get Fit: The Complete Guide to Getting a Swimmer's Body' by Megan Quann Jendrick. Megan and Nathan deftly cover a lot of ground, touching on what's *really* important. These topics range from stroke technique to proper diet, including nutritional supplements. This eBook is packed full of exactly the information that new swim parents should arm themselves with to compliment at home what their young swimmers are being taught on the pool deck at practice. I was pretty skeptical about how much I could actually get out of a swimming book, but this far exceeded my expectations. 'The New Rules of Lifting:' by Lou Shuler, Alwyn Cosgrove. Some good advice - lots of info beyond what i was looking for: some basic workouts. Nevertheless, I like the philosophy of lifting to stay in shape, not to join the body building crowd. I bought this eBook after spending a lot of money on a personal trainer at the gym. I felt it was time for me to do it on my own, but I wanted more information. I bought and read this book and applied what it had taught me. I was in great shape, but in just +/- 2.5 months I was in amazing shape. I was on FIRE! I swear by this eBook and am now in Alwyn's email newsletters and his wife's newsletters who is also a trainer. 'The Mood Cure: The 4-Step Program to Take Charge of Your Emotions' by Julia Ross. I personally do not think that this book is properly titled. In fact, I was tempted to think that this was some fad book. I also did not like the personal quiz at the beginning. 'Christmas 101' Rick Rodgers. Like many people, I often dread the holidays because of the time demands. Love and Country. I had great pleasure in reading these two eBook titles. I am a sucker for a good Love Story and if you are to then you will absolutely love Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks. I really enjoyed the parallel with current events. Let me say that Dick Francis is one of my favorite Authors. Useless Information and Heaven

Do you think we need to know Useless information when we get to Heaven? These two eBooks do not have much in common but I found them to be entertaining and thoughtful. I read these two titles based on the reviews. The book of Useless Information is just that... Useless but a fun read and it's nice to be able to casually throw in an interesting fact about a topic at a party or get together that most likely nobody knows about. I found it to boost my ego a bit for people perceive you as the guy/gal who knows things... Yeah ok... The topic that nobody really knows about is what is Heaven like. Sure there are multitudes of books out there that talk about near death experiences but I found that 90 Minutes in Heaven was sincere and believable. However, not enough to look forward to experience the glories of heaven (Yet). I can wait my turn, whenever that may be. I will say that after reading this eBook I now have some tools that will help if I loose a loved one or dealing with death.
